Shooting Star
Pediatric Physical Therapy

Growth Through Movement.

Our approach

At Shooting Star Pediatric Physical Therapy, we provide both traditional and intensive physical therapy services to children from birth through adolescence. We partner with your family to create an individualized treatment plan with meaningful goals tailored to your child’s unique needs, determine a frequency that fits your family’s schedule, and empower you with the knowledge and tools to continue supporting progress at home. To make therapy as accessible as possible, we offer flexible location options—including sessions at our clinic, in your home, or at another setting that supports your child’s goals. Together, we celebrate every step forward, big or small.

Physical Therapy for Children

Our primary objectives are to improve your child’s mobility, participation in daily activities, and overall quality of life—while making sure to have some fun along the way!

Intensive Physical Therapy

Intensives involve a short period of high-frequency therapy using repeated, targeted movement patterns to train or retrain your child’s brain. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, offered once or twice daily, five consecutive days a week, for a duration of 1 to 3 weeks. By the end of the intensive, your family will feel confident implementing a personalized home exercise program for your child.

Traditional Physical Therapy

Traditional therapy uses a lower frequency over a longer period of time. Scheduling options include biweekly, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even annual visits—depending on your child’s needs and your family’s preferences. We’ll work with you to create a schedule that supports your child’s progress and fits comfortably into your routine. As part of ongoing care, we will also provide and regularly update a personalized home exercise program for your child.
